NAT TURNER DAY is held annually in August on Nat Turner’s birth land in Southampton County, Virginia. This Ancestral celebration weekend is in commemoration of Freedom Fighter Nat Turner’s historic slave revolt in Southampton County, VA on August 21, 1831.
