7-SELECT Review – Glazed Cashews

Hey you guys. I love 7-Eleven. I know I say that often but I’ve never experienced such feelings for a corporate entity before.

My love for them grows more as their house product line emerges more and more.

7-SELECT products ensure that most 7-Elevens carry the same products. So, when it’s good at one store, that product will be good at another store.

I wanted to do a post review exclusively of 7-SELECT non-dairy products but I got side tracked when I went shopping. Lol.

But, I came out with these GO! Yum Kettle-Glazed Cashews. The package says “made with sesame seeds, real strawberries, blueberries, and cranberries.”

And here are the ingredients:

Before eating them, I assumed that the cashews would be hard. This assumption comes from the fact that kettle cooked chips are hard as rocks. But, I was wrong.

These cashews are soft and peasant.

The cashews are without a doubt my favorite part.

My least favorite part of this snack is a tie, actually –

I don’t like how the strawberries and blueberries are pretty much non-existent.

I also don’t like how the cranberries are so prominent.

While I don’t inherently have anything against dried cranberries, I think I would have enjoyed the cranberries if the package didn’t lead me to believe that I’d also be getting strawberries and blueberries.

The ratio of cashews to dried fruit is really well balanced.

Lastly, the sesame seeds added a pleasant variation to the texture.

Over all, I like these, y’all. Yes, I’d buy them again but under these conditions:

  • I’m sharing with someone, and
  • They agree to eat all the cranberries.

Thanks for reading!
