Sweet Earth has a good reputation for making flavorful vegan food. I haven’t tried everything that they have to offer. But I was so excited that I got to eat this tofu bowl today!
Yes, it is tasty! But I have more to say about it too 🙂 As a microwave meal, it didn’t dry out at all. I’d even say that it cooked perfectly.
Something else that’s perfect about this? The sauce! General Tso’s sauce is a fan favorite and this Sweet Earth bowl definitely delivers. No salt or added seasoning needed at all. It is delightfully sweet and spicy.
On the box it looks like the rice would be on the side but in reality it it all mixed with the tofu.
Something else that differs from the box is the broccoli. There are only 3 pieces of broccoli in the meal. Give me more!
Now, one thing that I may balk at is the price – $4.99 for one meal. Maybe on some particular day I would complain about that. Today, I was actually going to get take-out. But, it’s been a long day and I didn’t really feel like placing an order and waiting. So I spent that money on this bowl instead. I’m happy to say that I made the right choice 🙂
All in all, yesssss, I’d buy this tasty goodness again. No doubt. Maybe not often. But, if I’m going to eat a frozen meal, this is one of the best!
