The Godfather

I owned this DVD for ten years before I finished the whole thing.

And, you know, I thought Scarface was my favorite movie. It’s still one of the best, actually. But, the godfather. The. Godfather. I love it!

Okay first you should know that I usually like the bad guys. For example, I thought Walter White was the best!

What I admire about The Godfather… well okay, Michael &his Father, was the patience that they had. It look me a couple of views to realize that Vito never forgave or forget anyone for shooting him up in the beginning of the movie.

So many years passed between Vito getting shot like that and when Michael got this revenge.

The relationship between these father and son Don’s is definitely something that we should look at in terms of our own lives. Vito gave Michael good advice. The advice was so solid that it remained true after Vito had passed away.

Now, look at the empire that Vito built – he employed many people and took care of them. You could look at his life, his huge family, and see where the success is.

In turn, that is the type of thing that we should look at when it comes to someone else giving us advice. I’m not going to dwell on this but I will say: don’t take advice from someone whose life you would not want to live.

  1. Peace to you sis…

I use to look at that movie, Scar Face, New Jack City, Belly, Boys In The Hood, Menace To Society and Others like them as Classics…

    I loved those movies…

Until I received a revelation that guided me to understand that they were all viruses to our consciousness, which in turn was viruses to our communities…

They were the manuals by which we used to enslaved ourselves to incarceration and help lead us to our own destruction…

They fascinated us with the characters in the movies and inspired us to be and move just like them, because movies attack the eyes and ears at the same time which gives the viewer the ability to learn and mimic…

“Protect The Eyes And Ears For They Are The Windows To The Soul”

Those movies, just like the old b-movies back in the day, was spiritual warfare that inspired us to take on the forms of the pimp, the murderer, the drug dealer, the womanizer, the killer, the monster and a bunch of other destructive character forms that would destroy our own hoods…

Those movies and many more like them taught us how to be better at destroying ourselves, our people and our ancestors ways of life…

They romanticized and glamorized low vibrational behavior which made it cool and trendy…

It taught many of us that, it’s ok to go against our own families as long as money was involved…

It taught us how to get to the money illegally, so we could feed their modernized slave camps and their funeral homes…

They helped desensitize us to a thought that murdering our own was normal when aspiring to get ahead…

Yup… Massa’s updated program developed by our current system…

I am not a supporter of those movies anymore once I understood the truth and what they really was designed to do…

    Peace to you

    1. Wow! Thank you for your well thought out comment! It’s true, people do idolize these morally questionable characters. It is very interesting how entertainment can make us root for the bad guys! It’s also interesting how the downfall of these characters is also shown (like in Scarface) and people still want to be like Tony! He didn’t even win in the end.

      1. Indeed sis… They enslaved us with these movies through the created fantasies of the illusion of winning by using characters that reassembled us and our struggles… Those movies taught us how to get money, power and respect by sacrificing ourselves and our own people…
