No doubt about it, my favorite season is Summer time! The reason? Because that is the only season that we can enjoy getting into beach water around here.
And, we love the beach immensely. The water is such amazing vibrations!
It is nice being able to appreciate and experience all seasons, though. With the Joy’s of modern electricity, we can really enjoy all sorts of weather while still being comfortable inside. And that is a blessing.
As a February child, Winter time gets an honorable mention as well. But one year I went to the beach on my birthday and it was very cold. Lol.
Today’s blogging challenge is to talk about what I see, hear, and smell!
Having just finished cooking dinner, that’s what I’m smelling! I made a white bean & leek soup, quinoa, and roasted veggies (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower). The soup was seasoned primarily with curry and garlic and it smells really yummy, I’m going to eat some soon!
I hear the ceiling darlin revolving around on a high speed. It is uncharacteristically warm in Virginia right now (and I’m loving it!).
I’m also hearing and seeing Dolemite Is My Name playing on the computer. I really like Eddie Murphy and there are a lot of other well-known actors in this movie, too!
I also see a light gray sky with a soft yellow sunset that’s very beautiful. I think I will eat outside while I have the chance 😉
For day 3 we are supposed to be discussing what we are most afraid of.
